Library
The documents a pad holds: pages, files, and folders, edited together and searched by every chat that draws on the pad.
The Library is a pad's tree of documents. Pages are rich text you write in Pad, files are uploads, and folders keep them organized.
Writing together
Pages are collaborative: several people can edit the same page at once and see each other's changes as they type. Every page keeps a history of its revisions.
Uploading files
Drag files into the tree or use Upload. Pad extracts the text so chats can search them like any other document.
Suggested documents
The model can draft a document from a chat, for example a summary or a process it just helped write. Drafts land in the pad as suggestions for an editor to publish, edit, or discard, so the Library stays trustworthy.
Searching and linking
Search (Cmd/Ctrl+K) finds documents across every pad you belong to. In a chat, mention a document with @ to bring it into the conversation; in a page, link to other pages the same way.
