Members
Who is in a pad, how they got there, and what each role can do.
A pad's members are people and groups. People can be added directly; groups bring every one of their members along, and those rows show the group they came from.
Pad roles
| Role | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Member | Browse and search published documents, draft documents and publish their own, create and edit skills, and use the pad as a source in chats. |
| Editor | Everything a member can do, plus publish or unpublish any document (including drafts the model suggested), curate the pad's memory, and manage skill listings. |
| Admin | Everything an editor can do, plus manage membership and settings, and archive the pad. |
A person who reaches a pad through more than one route holds the highest role among them.
Managing members
Pad admins add and remove members and change roles from the pad's Members tab in Settings. Group-sourced rows are managed from the group itself (Settings and then Groups).
